Our wines are fermented with natural yeasts and aged in gently used barrels or stainless steel to avoid using up natural oak resources (new oak barrels used sparingly).

Everything we do, we try to make as clean and environmentally responsible as possible. We are mindful of our choices in the winery, our supply chain, shipping and our own travel, striving to reduce our carbon footprint in each area.

GREENER PACKAGING

We choose lighter glass bottles as 60% of the wine industry’s carbon footprint is attributed to wine bottles; it’s for that reason that we’ve added kegs and cans to our lineup. One 19.5L Steel Keg eliminates 26 empty wine bottles, corks, labels & cardboard boxes from going to the landfill or being recycled and can be reused for 30+ years.

GIVING BACK

For every bottle of Delta sold, we donate 10% of sales to the Surfrider Foundation, Cool Effect and other important environmental groups.

Working with Cool Effect, we neutralize our winery’s carbon footprint each year (266 tonnes).

We donate a portion of all sales to the Surfrider Foundation and Cool Effects. Your belief in our wine, and your dedication to improving our environment has allowed us to give $75k in our first three years.
